BOTNY About Photos Technology Design Home

The Botny team

The Botny team is comprised of three students enrolled in the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy program at Camosun College: Logen De Bruyne, Mohamed Kurani, and Chris Perrier. Our goal is to provide the pleasure and accessibility of having an automated garden within your home. We are doing so utilizing aeroponics, enabling you to save time and money while drastically reducing your ecological footprint.

We would like to thank Mel Dundas, Wayne Mayes, Pat Nicholson, and Camosun College for providing assistance and funding for our project. We would also like to thank you for taking an interest in our project. We are excited to make a product that could better people on an individual level and as a community.

Chris Perrier

Before embarking upon the engineering program, Chris had completed his Associate of Geography at Langara College and had been working for BC Hydro. When not focusing on electronics, Chris is shooting photos and travelling to countries he’s never been.

Mohamed Kurani

Mohamed originally attended Lakehead University to study Civil Engineering Technology. After graduating he moved to Vancouver Island for employment with Golder Associates. His passion for sustainability and renewable energies led him to begin studying Electronics at Camosun College.

Logen De Bruyne

Logen previously worked at Helm Operations as a Quality Assurance Specialist before leaving to study at Camosun College. For the future he plans to complete the Engineering Bridge program and transfer to UVIC to complete his degree.
